Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach - Volunteer

About the role

The volunteer Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of volleyball program operations at Tallwood High School. The position is designed to provide guidance and assistance to the head coach while also offering an opportunity for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and implementing volleyball practices and games.
• Work closely with the head coach to develop and implement team strategies.
• Support the head coach in recruiting new players and maintaining current player relationships.
• Attend all home and away games as needed.

Requirements

• Experience coaching volleyball at the high school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for volleyball and a commitment to student-athlete development.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with high school athletes.

Skills

• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
