About the Opportunity

This is a volunteer pro-bono engagement through Taproot Foundation to help Polaris, a new nonprofit, create a clear, actionable fundraising strategy. Polaris aims to fund a documentary and advance its mission of uncovering why Americans are so sick and driving actionable change.

We have a committed production team, prominent interviews secured, a budget, and fiscal sponsorship in place to accept tax-deductible donations. Several grant writers are already working—this strategy will tie their efforts together.

Deliverable

• A written fundraising strategy and roadmap outlining:
  • Best-fit funding sources (grants, individual giving, sponsorships, campaigns)
  • A realistic sequence for outreach
  • Simple targets and next steps for fundraising volunteers
