About the role
Foundation Communities is a local, homegrown nonprofit. We provide affordable, attractive homes and free on-site support services for thousands of families with kids, as well as veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. We offer an innovative, proven model that empowers our residents and neighbors to achieve educational success, financial stability, and healthier lifestyles. We own and operate 27 apartment communities – 24 in Austin and three more in North Texas. Foundation Communities’ Health Coverage program is a free service to help community members enroll in affordable health coverage and access healthcare that they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with clients during the federal marketplace Open Enrollment period (November 1 through January 15) to guide them through the online application.
- Inform clients about insurance options.
- Ensure clients can take the next steps for using their coverage.
Schedule
In‑person kickoff: Wednesday, September 3rd, 12:00 PM–1:00 PM at The Jordan at Mueller, 2724 Philomena St, Austin, TX 78723.
Virtual kickoff: Wednesday, September 3rd, 5:00 PM–6:00 PM via Microsoft Teams (link to be provided).
