This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. The challenge we would like to address is translating the overarching mission of Africa Future Gateway, Inc. (AFG) into a standardized, scalable educational and professional training program model. As a verified U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity based in Washington, D.C., our core purpose centers on professional capabilities training, talent development hubs, and community empowerment across developing regions. While our leadership team has defined our target demographics and strategic goals, we lack a structured programmatic architecture—including measurable learning milestones, curriculum frameworks, and impact assessment criteria—to roll out our pilot programs systematically. By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a comprehensive Program Design Blueprint for our core workforce and skills-training initiative. This deliverable will include a clear Theory of Change, a structured modular syllabus/training roadmap, facilitator and participant profile guidelines, and a defined monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework with key performance indicators. Success means having a turn-key program framework that AFG leadership can present to grant-makers and implement directly on the ground with local partner communities. AFRICA FUTURE GATEWAY INC. Mission: Our core mission is to provide instruction and training to improve professional capabilities, establish talent development and educational programs, support health-related education and services, and foster international partnerships that drive sustainable community development and workforce readiness. We bridge international developmental initiatives with robust U.S. institutional frameworks to empower communities globally.
