Volunteer: Impact Measurement Framework
About the role
Volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation. Spiritual Wellfare Inc’s mission is to transform community’s capacity to build generational freedom through somatic healing, ancestral wisdom, and collective care. Programs include:
- Embers of Soulstice: flagship retreat
- Feel to Heal: financial literacy curriculum with two models
- Training foster youth serving organizations to teach the curriculum to foster youth
- Direct offering to community members
- Feeling Our Finances: clinical psychotherapy group that helps people heal their relationship with money and financial trauma
Challenge
Current surveys do not capture concrete, long-term impact. While the organization knows its work changes lives, there is no framework for what to measure or how to track outcomes over time across programs. This gap makes it difficult to write strong grant reports, tell the story with data, or identify which programs are working best.
Scope of work
Design a clear impact measurement strategy that specifies:
- Outcomes to track across programs (beyond attendance or satisfaction) that reflect real long-term impact
- Methods or tools suitable for a small team
- Frequency of measurement
The deliverable should be a written framework or plan that can be handed off internally, defining what to measure and why. Success is having a strong foundation in place to inform a future dashboard build and guide execution going forward.
