Volunteer: Create a Project Management Roadmap for a Youth Platform Build
About the Role
We are looking for a project management expert to help us build a comprehensive project implementation roadmap and tracking system to guide four Georgia Tech interns in developing our digital platform, Klubs4Kids Connect.
Project Goal
Produce a discrete Project Management Toolkit, which includes:
- A detailed project roadmap with key technical milestones and deadlines
- A configured project board (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana) adapted for our specific technical requirements
- A communication and reporting template for weekly intern check-ins
- A brief training session for our leadership on how to maintain the board and track progress once the toolkit is delivered
Ideal Candidate
This is an ideal project for a corporate professional with PMP experience, a retired technology manager, or anyone with strong project coordination skills who wants to make a meaningful impact on a youth-serving nonprofit.
Current Project Status
All team members have been vetted. A Project Kickoff & Role Assignment Document and an Onboarding doc have been created for each team member detailing all assignments and areas of work. All team members will be brought together next week for a Zoom meeting to discuss their roles and responsibilities.
About Klubs4Kids
Klubs4Kids uses the game of golf as a platform to engage underserved youth in Southeast Georgia through STEAM learning, mentorship, wellness, and character development—helping young people build confidence, life skills, educational achievement, and purpose-driven futures.
Impact
With this framework in place, our team will be equipped to manage the implementation phase effectively, allowing us to eventually scale our impact from 100 to over 500 children annually.
