Volunteer: Social Media Project Management
About the role
We are seeking a pro bono consultant to assist Army Pink in developing a sustainable social media operations system. The consultant will focus on creating a content calendar, defining roles for volunteer content creators, establishing workflows, recommending tools, and providing a transition plan.
Responsibilities
- Create a 3–6-month content calendar
- Define roles and responsibilities for volunteer content creators
- Develop simple documented workflows for planning, creating, reviewing, and publishing content
- Recommend tools and processes to support team collaboration
- Provide a handoff guide with recommendations for maintaining the system after the 12-week engagement
Requirements
Volunteers must have experience in social media management, content creation, and project management. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools is preferred. Reliable communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Qualifications
Experience working with nonprofits, especially those focused on domestic violence prevention and survivor support, is beneficial. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter is required.

Pay

The volunteer will work remotely, with regular check-ins and deliverables due every two weeks. The duration of the engagement is approximately 12 weeks.
