Volunteer Coordinator (Part-Time)

About the Role

Refuge Services is a Christian nonprofit organization seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Volunteer Coordinator who shares our passion for serving others and embraces our ministry's mission and core values. The Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising our volunteer team, which includes approximately 30–40 volunteers each week. This position requires someone who enjoys working with people, can effectively manage multiple responsibilities, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise a team of 30–40 weekly volunteers.
• Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

• A commitment to the Christian mission and values of Refuge Services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• The ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic setting.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Confidence using computers and technology.
• A genuine love for animals; horse experience is not required, but candidates must be comfortable working around horses and in a ranch setting.
• A flexible, positive, and servant-hearted attitude.

Pay

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
