About the Organization

Rock The River Winter Festival is a not-for-profit event, proudly sponsored by Nirvana Waterworks, held on the first full weekend in February. The festival raises money for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and KidSport Manitoba. Since 2002, teams from Manitoba, North America, and beyond have participated in outdoor curling on the frozen river, raising over $253,094 for local charities. The event welcomes everyone—no curling experience is needed, only a can-do spirit and warm clothes. Teams must consist of 3 to 6 players.
