Alamo Hospice is hiring a Volunteer Coordinator to support their Boerne and Kerrville locations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Volunteer Training Program
• Recruit and train volunteers
• Develop and maintain volunteer retention programs
• Assure compliance with all regulatory issues related to volunteers
• Develop programs that maximize the use of volunteers in both clinical and administrative services
• Assume other duties as developed by the Director of Operations
• Assist in the recruitment, training and development of all volunteer programs as needed

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to speak before groups with sensitivity and compassion
• Significant group organizational experience
• Volunteer experience desired, particularly in recruitment, training, and supervision
