About the role
Momivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering mothers as they raise the next generation. We provide resources, community, and inspiration to help moms thrive in every season of motherhood. We are seeking volunteers to assist with our Mothering Convention on October 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Decides how many volunteers we need by discussing with other ChairMoms their needs;
- Recruits and screens them (checking against lists from last year);
- Covers what capacities we need volunteers (hostesses, registration, assembly of materials);
- Makes reminder phone calls;
- Writes thank you notes!
- Works closely with ChairMom of the team to organize team meetings (creates agendas and takes minutes);
- Keeps a current Motherteam roster;
- Sends out reminder emails about meetings;
- Sends out summaries about discussions on the Message team
Requirements
- Dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per week to duties and outreach;
- Attend weekly meeting with Mothering Convention Team;
- Attend Mothering Convention all day event, October 10, 2026 in Sandy, Utah;
- Communicate proactively if circumstances impact your ability to fulfill responsibilities.
Qualifications
Volunteers should have a passion for supporting mothers and an interest in contributing to the success of the Mothering Convention. No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
