Volunteer: Brand Design Needed for Forest Protection Print Project
Project Overview
We are in early production of works associated with a culture-driven global forest protection campaign. A graphic designer is needed to begin project brand design via designing its core inaugural output—a small 20-30 page accordion fold cookbook + compendium to be printed and available in a virtual format.
Visual Language
The visual language for this project will leverage core brand elements including flip books, atmosphere, visual poetry, continuity, and progression. It may incorporate visual cues such as the forest canopy, culinary illustrations, and text that presents like visual poetry.
Climate House US Mission
Climate House US is a creative think tank using the arts to illustrate actionable pathways forward and bring them to life. Our mission is to communicate climate change as a universal, ambient issue experienced through our bodies and daily lives using universal sensory language to reintegrate our understanding of climate change as real in the felt sense and as a core defining issue shaping everything around us.
Culture-First Approach
Culture is the fabric of daily life. Climate House US uses a broad suite of cultural tools to meet people where they are, designing programming that is audience-tailored and culture-first, recognizing this as the carrier oil for engaging with more complex topics. Our approach is to show, not tell, grounding solutions on the experiential plane so our audience can feel solutions that are so actionable, they can taste them.
