Volunteer: Audience-Specific Impact Briefs for Mental Health Nonprofit
About the Role
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
The volunteer will create four one-page impact briefs tailored to foundations, clients, government leaders, and corporate sponsors. The volunteer will draft clear, audience-focused messaging and layout-ready copy. These one-pagers will help the organization communicate its work to key audiences—supporting fundraising from foundations and sponsors, informing clients about accessible trauma-informed care, and influencing government leaders—advancing our mission to expand affordable, inclusive psychotherapy and train future clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Create four one-page impact briefs tailored to foundations, clients, government leaders, and corporate sponsors
- Draft clear, audience-focused messaging and layout-ready copy
- Collaborate with a designated staff partner to review existing materials and refine messaging
