About the role

The position is responsible for leading the district’s efforts in implementing the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and ensuring all students are prepared for college and career readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with TEKS standards.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to teachers.
• Collaborate with teachers to improve instructional strategies.
• Conduct professional development workshops for staff.
• Assess and report on district-wide academic progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience.
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TEKS standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
