About Sync With God

Sync with God is a discipleship ministry dedicated to helping people develop a daily, interactive relationship with God through Scripture, prayer, listening, and obedience. Through mentoring, coaching, digital resources, and community engagement, we equip individuals and ministry leaders to deepen their faith and help others do the same.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented volunteer to help communicate our mission through visually engaging newsletters and administrative support.

Position Summary

The Administrative & Newsletter Design Coordinator will play a vital role in helping Sync with God communicate effectively with supporters, volunteers, ministry partners, and participants. This volunteer will create attractive digital newsletters, manage communications, organize content, and assist with basic administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity, organization, and ministry impact.

Responsibilities

• Newsletter Creation & Design
  • Design engaging and visually appealing email newsletters.
  • Format articles, ministry updates, testimonies, event announcements, and promotional content.
  • Ensure newsletters reflect the Sync with God brand and mission.
  • Incorporate graphics, photos, and other visual elements to increase engagement.
  • Work with ministry leaders to gather and organize newsletter content.
• Communications Support
  • Assist with email communications to ministry partners, volunteers, and supporters.
  • Help maintain communication calendars and schedules.
  • Support social media and promotional communication efforts as needed.
  • Proofread content for clarity, professionalism, and accuracy.
• Administrative Support
  • Organize ministry documents, files, and communication resources.
  • Help coordinate communications for events, training sessions, and volunteer activities.

Requirements

• Passion for Christian discipleship and spiritual growth.
• Strong written communication and editing skills.
• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools.
• Interest in creating attractive, reader-friendly digital newsletters.
• Willingness and ability to learn and use GetResponse for email marketing and newsletter distribution.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Experience in ministry, communications, marketing, administration, or nonprofit work is helpful but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Graphic design and visual storytelling.
• Experience creating digital newsletters, email campaigns, or promotional materials.
• Basic social media content creation.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
• Ability to communicate ministry impact through engaging stories, testimonials, and visual content.
• Willingness to learn new technology and communication platforms, including GetResponse.

Schedule
