Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record
  • Valid Sales License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Physical Requirements

  • Spend time outdoors in varying weather and elements

Responsibilities

  • Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening
  • Attend company meetings as required
  • Maintain a follow-up system, including designated CRM process, to encourage follow-through with assigned projects
  • Establish personal performance goals consistent with company standards and devise strategies to meet them
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning
  • Understand business terminology and stay updated on product and service technology changes
  • Know and comply with federal, state, and local requirements governing the company’s business
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors and work rules/procedures
  • Participate in performance management and interact positively with others to influence employee morale
  • Uphold company non-disclosure and confidentiality policies
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas and profit margin goals
  • Introduce customers to parts, service, F&I, and general merchandise departments
  • Utilize floor time effectively to meet customer needs and solicit sales
  • Follow established procedures for handling warranty items, completing paperwork, and maintaining the computerized inventory control system
  • Ensure customers are aware of product features and benefits, and actively develop prospects
  • Demonstrate product advantages compared to other brands and cross-sell accessories, parts, F&I products, service contracts, and warranties
  • Greet customers promptly, follow the outlined sales process, and verify customer qualifications
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and a pleasant attitude to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure consistent customer treatment by following documented procedures
  • Conduct courteous and prompt telephone transactions and utilize vehicle deliveries to foster customer loyalty
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and road tests before customer delivery
  • Attend pertinent trainings and stay current with sales techniques and department concerns
  • Sell/lease and deliver a minimum of 9 units per month
  • Approach, greet, and assist customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their responses
  • Explain product performance, applications, and benefits, and describe optional equipment
  • Offer test drives and follow dealership procedures for customer identification
  • Utilize the dealership sales control and follow-up system
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local laws governing retail automobile sales
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards and devise strategies to meet them
  • Attend product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager
  • Stay informed about new products, features, accessories, and their benefits to customers
  • Understand equity, values, and depreciation, and explain them to customers
  • Ensure the sales manager meets each customer and turn 100% of closed deals to the business and insurance manager with completed paperwork
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork according to dealership policies
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to arrival
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance
  • Schedule first service appointments and follow up on post-delivery items (tag/title work, 'we-owes', special requests)
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Maintain a prospect development system
  • Document all customer communication in CRM
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as directed

Pay

$16.90 per hour plus bonus up to $16,500.00 per month, varying based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
