About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Houston, TX area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

  • Teach voice lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio/rehearsal space, or via webcam.
  • Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
  • Be available to travel to students in the Houston, TX area if needed.
  • Communicate regularly with the office.
  • Keep your studio or home clean and sanitized.

Requirements

  • Great with kids and love teaching.
  • Organized and punctual for all lessons.
  • One of the following is a must: degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching voice.
  • Ability to teach via webcam (though this is less common).

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to set and manage your own schedule.
  • Knowledge of basic music theory and techniques.

Pay

COVID-19 Precautions

Though some students are okay to take lessons via webcam, most students are hoping to go to their instructor's studio or have their instructor come to their home. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, & practice social distancing when applicable.
