Voice instructor needed in Gaithersburg, MD

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio location in the Gaithersburg, MD area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teach voice lessons in students' homes, your own home, or your own studio/rehearsal space.
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans.
• Communicate regularly with the office.
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons.

Requirements

• Great with kids.
• Loves teaching.
• Organized and punctual.
• Must have one of the following:
• A degree in music.
• Enrollment in a music program.
• Professional performing experience.
• Previous teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractor pay rates.
• Ability to teach via webcam (though this is not preferred).
• Willingness to travel to students in the Gaithersburg, MD area if necessary.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to set and manage schedules independently.
• Knowledge of online teaching platforms if needed.

Pay

You would be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour dependent on travel time, your experience/education, and your student retention rate.
