Voice Data Integration Design Technician Intermediate (35418)

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content towards fully coordinated 3D models across all design disciplines (C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L) using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Create 2D construction drawings in coordination with other designers, discipline leads, architects, and engineers.
• Collaborate with senior telecom design team members to translate design intent into constructable deliverables, including clash-free 3D models.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of Revit BIM design experience.
• Familiarity with NavisWorks.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry.
• A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
• A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function.
• Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment.
• Experience following client design and modeling standards.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests.
• Willingness to learn new things.
