VOCF Analyst/Engineer

Functional Requirements

• The VoCF Analyst / Engineer would be responsible for managing vehicle testing from determining availability, coordinating testing, and summarizing and reporting data.

Deliverables

• Development and maintenance of a data tracking system for all test data for each vehicle
• Parameter sheets for each test vehicle
• Documentation required for monthly Director/Chief-level report outs

Experience Required

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Familiarity with emissions/fuel economy regulations and emissions testing/procedures desirable
• Ability to interact effectively with management and other organizations including government agencies
• Ability to interact effectively through e-mail, telephone, WebEx, etc.
• Detail oriented self-starter, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to research regulatory requirements
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, accessing databases, etc.)
• Strong technical and oral communication skills (reading, writing and speaking)
• Software/computer engineering, which is not what is needed for this role
• Someone who is more software driven does not often have that feel for a vehicle/vehicle operation outside of what codes it may set
