Vocational Teacher - Agriculture

Qualifications

• Teaching license in the appropriate grade, or content area; or the ability to obtain a technical permit.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the content area with an Associate Degree or 4 years work experience in the area.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others in grade level, school, and district teams.

Requirements

• The contract length will be 235 days.
• The salary scheduled will be A & J.
• Evaluation based on local district policy and Department of Education guidelines; performed by the building level principal who is assisted by the assistant principal in regard to evaluations.

Job Goal

The classroom teacher will endeavor to teach and educate students according to standards for the state of Arkansas as promulgated by the Arkansas Department of Education or other accrediting body. Furthermore, the teacher will teach the adopted curriculum developed and implemented by Conway Public Schools working always to provide the richest educational experience possible. He or she will also strive to teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the school district.

Performance Responsibilities
