VMware Systems Support

For our client, we are seeking a VMware Systems Support to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead systems administration efforts across virtualized enterprise environments, with a strong focus on infrastructure reliability and support. The position will partner with account teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable designs that align with operational goals. It will also help shape high-availability and disaster recovery strategies while documenting current-state architecture and supporting ongoing infrastructure transitions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Lead systems administration for virtualized environments across the organization Align systems design and strategy with business objectives Translate long-term business requirements into infrastructure designs Provide infrastructure leadership for hardware and software support Document current-state solution architectures and develop high-availability designs Collaborate with account teams on operational knowledge and transition planning Participate in design reviews to validate disaster recovery objectives Qualifications BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience Master's degree preferred Senior-level expertise in VMware systems administration and enterprise infrastructure design Experience with Microsoft Server and Linux servers, including clustering Familiarity with disaster recovery and high availability in cloud environments Benefits Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities Opportunity to shape systems strategy within the company Collaborative environment with cross-functional team interactions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
