VMware Consultant- Active FS Poly or CI Poly

About the role

The VMware Engineer/Consultant will work with multiple work locations across the U.S. in support of VMware VCF deployments at Army bases. The team consists of 5-6 members, including an Architect and Staff Consultant, to deploy and optimize VCF at each site. The consultant will analyze environments onsite and collaborate with the team to develop a plan for customers to best utilize their new VCF environment.

If consultants are not near an Army base, travel expenses will be provided for weekly travel. All roles are expected to be fully onsite soon.

Responsibilities

• Deploy VMware VCF or its product suite as separate components.
• Obtain VCF certification within 30 days prior to starting the project.
• Analyze customer environments and develop optimization plans for VCF deployments.
• Work onsite at Army bases across the U.S.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with CI Poly or Full Scope Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree or 7–10 years of equivalent work experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience deploying VMware VCF or its product suite.
• Ability to obtain VCF certification prior to project start.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• VCF certification (required within 30 days prior to starting).
• VMware VCF 5.2 and VCF 9.0 certifications (preferred).
