Position Goals

We are looking for an innovative visual arts educator who can inspire students to become life-long learners and creative risk-takers, and provide students with the technical skills and Studio Habits of Mind they need to realize their own creative vision.

Performance Responsibilities

  • Teach seventh and eighth grade visual arts courses, following curricula that focus on drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media.
  • Classes are taught five periods a day, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Visual Arts
  • Reports To: Director of Visual Arts, K-12 and Ottoson Middle School Principal
