Visitor Center Operations Management
Oversee daily visitor center operations including staffing, scheduling, tours, tastings, cocktail bar operations, bookings, and retail activities. Perform opening and closing responsibilities as needed. Ensure a high-quality guest experience and compliance with all safety, health, and legal requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Visitor Center staff.
- Conduct ongoing training, incentives, and development programs.
- Aid in updates to training materials and onboarding resources.
- Foster a positive, service-focused team culture.
Inventory, Retail & Financial Management
- Manage retail, tour, and bar inventories including ordering, forecasting, reconciliation, and stock control.
- Complete weekly and monthly accounting and reporting requirements.
- Partner with Brand and Marketing teams on merchandise development and retail strategy.
Guest Experience & Brand Representation
- Conduct tours and tastings as needed.
- Represent Limestone Branch brands to consumers, VIP guests, trade partners, and industry visitors.
- Manage guest concerns, complaints, donation requests, and public appearance requests.
- Develop new visitor experiences that support brand-building initiatives.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Coordinate VIP, trade, and special group tours with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Operations to optimize visitor experiences while minimizing production disruptions.
- Monitor industry trends, Kentucky Bourbon Trail activity, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.
Analytics & Consumer Insights
- Analyze visitor feedback, tourism trends, and operational metrics.
- Support forecasting and growth planning initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve visitor engagement and key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Retail Management, Tourism, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Responsible alcohol service certification, where required.
- Training in hospitality, customer service, retail operations, or tourism management preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for events and brand representation.
- 2–3 years of visitor center, hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service management experience.
- 2–3 years of experience hiring, training, coaching, and leading employees.
- Experience managing inventory, retail operations, and guest experiences preferred.
- Experience within the spirits, beverage alcohol, tourism, or hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent verbal presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Financial acumen with inventory, forecasting, and reporting experience.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Knowledge of the bourbon industry and Kentucky Bourbon Trail preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and booking/scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and special events.

Physical Requirements
