About the role
The Department of Psychology at Wesleyan University invites applications for a one-semester part-time visiting professor of Psychology starting January 1, 2027, for the spring semester.
Responsibilities
- Teach one section of Introductory Psychology
- Preference given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in psychology or a related field at the time of appointment is required for professor level; an appointment as an instructor is possible for a successful A.B.D. candidate
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching
- Access to resources for professional development such as the Center for Pedagogical Innovation and the Office for Faculty Career Development
