Visiting Lecturer of Nursing

Job Description

The Indiana University East School of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking applicants for a Lecturer in Nursing position. Opportunity to teach in the BSN, RN to BSN mobility option, and MSN programs. Positions begin fall 2026.

Basic Qualifications

• A master’s degree in nursing or has a written plan of study for degree completion and has matriculated in a college or university.
• Evidence of eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of practice as a registered nurse (RN).
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student success.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a professional and collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an engaging and supportive academic environment for faculty, staff, and students from a variety of backgrounds.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing specialty.

Additional Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) is considered a plus.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.
