About the role

The Department of Languages and Literatures seeks a full-time Visiting Instructor/Visiting Assistant Professor of German to teach undergraduate German in the 2026-27 academic year. Ability to also teach introductory and/or intermediate French is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in German and possibly French
• Promote the German language program
• Participate in various departmental activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications: - Master's degree in the language or related field is required. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
