Responsibilities
- Teach six (6) sections per academic year for tenure track and tenure.
- Teach seven (7) sections per academic year for clinical faculty and eight (8) sections per academic year for lecturers.
- Teach both the didactic and clinical components of the curriculum, program, and instructional materials development.
- Assist with JRCERT program assessment and accreditation.
- Advising students within the majors.
- Engage in appropriate university/professional/community service including committee work and campus initiatives to increase retention and enrollment.
Requirements
- Holds a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited University or College.
- A graduate degree is preferred and must be completed within five years of hire.
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography and/or radiographic sciences’ program.
- Holds an active ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Holds an ARDMS and/or ARRT certification in additional imaging modalities desired.
- Holds a current Indiana State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as a radiologic technologist in radiography.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in radiography (clinical and/or didactic) in a JRCERT accredited radiography program.
- Shows proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and advising.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements pertinent to teaching assignments.
