Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiologic Sciences

Responsibilities

  • Teach six (6) sections per academic year for tenure track and tenure.
  • Teach seven (7) sections per academic year for clinical faculty and eight (8) sections per academic year for lecturers.
  • Teach both the didactic and clinical components of the curriculum, program, and instructional materials development.
  • Assist with JRCERT program assessment and accreditation.
  • Advising students within the majors.
  • Engage in appropriate university/professional/community service including committee work and campus initiatives to increase retention and enrollment.

Requirements

  • Holds a minimum of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited University or College.
  • A graduate degree is preferred and must be completed within five years of hire.
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography and/or radiographic sciences’ program.
  • Holds an active ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Holds an ARDMS and/or ARRT certification in additional imaging modalities desired.
  • Holds a current Indiana State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as a radiologic technologist in radiography.
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in radiography (clinical and/or didactic) in a JRCERT accredited radiography program.
  • Shows proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and advising.
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements pertinent to teaching assignments.

Qualifications

Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
