Minimum Qualifications
- Credentialed as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Earned Master degree in nutrition or nutrition-related field
- Preferred: Terminal degree in nutrition or nutrition-related field (PhD, DCN, DrPH) or other terminal degree (EdD) plus a degree in nutrition
- Current or recent (within the last five years) practice experience in acute and/or ambulatory care as dietitian
- Advanced practice credentials (eg. CNSC, CDCES, or CDR Board Certified Specialist credentials)
- Previous teaching experience at the post-baccalaureate level
- Demonstrated ongoing scholarly achievement and research expertise
- Experience with ACEND accreditation under the Future Education Model Graduate Program standards
- Experience with online pedagogy
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organizational skills
- Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion of the institutional mission and values
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
