Au.D. or Ph.D. degree in Audiology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of Au.D. or Ph.D. degree in Audiology
- Master’s degree with Au.D. expected by 2025
- Third or fourth year audiology extern currently enrolled in Au.D. program
Clinical service experience with patient-centered and evidence-based approach.
Current, temporary, or permanent California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license and full licensure within three (3) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current California Dispensing Audiologist License
- Experience in a wide range of specialties in the field of audiology (e.g. evoked potential, balance function management, tinnitus management and pediatric audiology)
- Proficiency in hearing aid dispensing to include programmable hearing aids of major manufacturers
- Previous supervision of audiology students
- Familiarity of insurance billing procedures and patient management system software
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
