About the role
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in the College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Daytona Beach invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position. EECS is home to 22 faculty members and offers multiple degrees: the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; M.S. degrees in Cybersecurity Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Unmanned and Autonomous Systems Engineering; and B.S. degrees in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Software Engineering. The department provides an inclusive, collegial, and highly collaborative faculty environment with far-reaching efforts in multidisciplinary challenges.

Qualifications
- Terminal degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Exceptional candidates who have previous teaching experience and have completed all their coursework, expecting to complete their PhD during the fall 2026 semester, will be considered.
