Position Overview
The Bauer Human-Centered AI Institute at the University of Houston invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) position, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2026. Compensation and Teaching Load
This position offers a salary of $70,000 per year. The expected teaching load is approximately 2.5 courses per year, typically consisting of two regular semester courses and one short-session course.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a closely related field (ABD candidates near completion will be considered)
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness or strong potential for excellence in teaching
Responsibilities
Contribute to a high-quality research environment
Teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses
