Virtual Medical Assistant

Fully remote, work-from-home position with a US-based company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a personal assistant to the physician
• Update EHR/EMR with patient's records
• Gather information for the patient's visit
• Partner with physician to deliver efficient patient care

Requirements

• A degree or some units in an allied medical course is preferred
• At least 6 months experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant
• At least 6 months experience as a Customer Service Representative (CSR)
• Remote Patient Monitoring experience is a must
• 2+ years bilingual (English & Spanish fluency required)
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical terminologies
• Knowledge of US healthcare private insurance (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare)

Tech Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet
• Updated computer/laptop
• Webcam and headset
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
