As the Medical Assistant, you are responsible for assisting in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care, by being a member of a high performing clinical team. You will work to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care, working with healthcare providers on their daily needs and schedules to assure timely patient care. Taking patient vital signs, documenting medical history in our EMR system, and providing patients and families medical information are just some of the critical duties you will be performing. Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of high quality, safe clinical care as part of a high performing clinical team.
• Enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency through a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Work with healthcare providers on their daily needs and schedules to assure timely patient care.
• Take patient vital signs.
• Document medical history in the EMR system.
• Provide patients and families with medical information to achieve positive patient satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, and:
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program, OR
• Has obtained a Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA), OR
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: Achieves and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association, within 90 days of hire.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical skills to ensure patient’s needs are met.
• Basic computer skills.
• Utilizes critical thinking and good judgement in performance of tasks.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Pay

Pay Range $21.00 - $28.26. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.

Schedule

Our department is open Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm. This role requires nights and Saturday shifts day/night.
