Virtual Entry Level Assistant - Marketing

This 100% remote role is open to candidates located in Ohio, United States.

This position is ideal for candidates who are organized, proactive, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic remote environment. A background check is required for all positions involving access to company systems and client information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and publishing content across digital platforms including social media, email newsletters, and blogs
• Coordinate internal communications between team members, vendors, and clients on behalf of the marketing team
• Maintain organized digital filing systems including shared drives, project tracking documents, and content calendars
• Support the marketing team with research projects, competitive analysis, and summary reporting
• Respond to inbound inquiries from prospects and customers and route them to the appropriate team member
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, meeting scheduling, and document preparation
• Monitor social media engagement and compile weekly performance summaries for team review
• Complete ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by marketing leadership

Requirements

• High school diploma required; degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong written communication skills with a professional and engaging tone
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• No prior marketing experience required — full training provided from day one
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
