Virtual Care Physician

About the Role

Seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple states to provide high-quality virtual care through a telemedicine platform. The role involves conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, prescribing medications (excluding most controlled substances), and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered virtual care and build therapeutic relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on their use.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.

Requirements

• Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance provided).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• DEA certification and applicable CSL, if required.

Key Duties

• Provide virtual medical consultations, assessments, and treatment.
• Order, interpret lab tests, and prescribe medications within scope.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
