Abortion Care

This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

Remote

90% On-Site: 10%

Full Position Salary Range

• $21.84/hour - $26.08/hour
• Additional Pay: +$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)

Schedule

• Full-time; ~37.5 hours/week

Who You Are

• You'll deliver compassionate, accurate, and efficient virtual support to patients by facilitating smooth check-in and check-out experiences for telehealth visits.
• While not physically present at the health center, you play a critical role in creating a welcoming first and last impression through excellent customer service, patient satisfaction, and Continuity of care that ensures each interaction is safe, respectful, and aligned with our standards of care.

Our Ideal Candidate

• A high school graduate (or equivalent) with experience with or willingness to learn reproductive health, abortion care, gender affirming care, and family planning.
• Access to a private workspace (if remote) consistently for all working hours.
• Excellent communication skills, that consider providing exceptional customer service as a core function of your daily work.
• Adept at navigating changing priorities, disruptions, and changes in the work day with limited supervision.
• Adept at meeting deadlines and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adept at using digital platforms such as Microsoft Suite, Teladoc, payer portals, and prescription management systems to support virtual care workflows.

Covid-19 Protocol

• Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment.
• All Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st.
• Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date.

Flu Protocol

• All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season).
• Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date.
