About the role
The Telemedicine Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the intensive care unit via telemedicine.

- Working in multiple EHR/EMR systems
- Night shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the intensive care unit via telemedicine
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Apply strong working knowledge of critical care medicine, including fluid resuscitation, vasopressors, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation
- Prioritize tasks effectively
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication
- Navigate various electronic medical records
- Demonstrate professional demeanor
Requirements
- Board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Two (2) years experience working in the critical care setting as an Advanced Practice Provider (five (5) years preferred)
- Competent with computer skills
