About the Role

We have partnered with an established, global manufacturer of critical care equipment. They are seeking a Sales Representative to sell equipment service contracts in the Midwest region covering IL, IN, OH, WI, MI, SD, ND, IA, MN, Northern KY, and Eastern MO. Candidates must reside within the territory and be near a major airport. Market segments include interventional cardiology, anesthesiology, critical care, cardiovascular, and general surgery. The role requires a strong sales personality, technical savvy, and the ability to distill complex solutions into effective, impactful sales presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales of product service contracts by aligning products to customer workflow and technical requirements, delivering product demos, creating quotes, and closing deals.
• Collaborate with capital equipment sales reps, clinical applications reps, and field service technicians during the sales process to determine needs and best position the client’s solution.
• Manage the entire sales cycle with the goal of achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
• Provide account support as required per the strategic plan for each account.
• Work with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical service sales; clinical sales or applications experience with hospital capital equipment is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, DMI quote system, CRM software, PowerPoint, etc.
• Consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions, clearly presenting both clinical and business benefits.
