About the role
This is a home-based role in Manchester, NH or surrounding areas (within a 100-mile radius). Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting customer equipment, including installation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Videojet devices located at our customer sites. This role requires building strong, trusted relationships with customers and providing expert guidance to address their needs.

Responsibilities
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Travel throughout the Manchester, NH territory to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel.
- Provide ongoing care and support for our customer's equipment.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions.
- Become a trusted advisor and partner for our customers, to develop excellent relationships.
- Extend our Videojet footprint in the market by promoting our service agreements and newer technology.
Travel is primarily regional within the Manchester, NH territory area and is planned in advance to allow flexibility in managing schedules, routes, and customer visits. Overnight travel is occasional and not routine.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Technical Degree preferred and/or relevant military training; other backgrounds welcome to apply with relevant work history.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, lift, stretch, bend, and squat throughout the day.
- Must be comfortable with day travel and home most evenings; but also frequent overnight travel.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $28.00 - $30.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
