About the role
The Portland Timbers are seeking a Videographer to join their team. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports and skilled in crafting compelling video content.
Responsibilities
- Film and edit projects from initial concept to final delivery
- Operate DSLR and digital cinema cameras to capture events on and off-field
- Collaborate with the Video Team and broader Marketing Team on project ideation and execution
- Be organized and committed to maintaining established workflows
- Project manage and ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Work at home games and events, as well as away games
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Function in a high activity, crowded professional sports venue
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders inside and outside the organization
- Collaborate with business and marketing teams to create effective campaigns
Qualifications
- Background in video production in a professional setting
- Experience working on campaigns that support business objectives
- Several years of combined educational and professional experience
- A working knowledge of sports
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Adobe Creative Suite
- High-level operational knowledge of DSLR and digital cinema cameras
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to accept and act on constructive feedback
- Ability to work productively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Industry awareness of new technologies and trends impacting the production industry
- Understanding of different social media platforms and their associated video strategies
Skills
- Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with video editing software
- Knowledge of sports and event coverage
