Responsibilities
- Cook up production workflows and schedules
- Adapt to ever-changing requests, design edits, and revisions
- Produce an approved finished product in a timely manner
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other nonlinear editing software to create advanced videos for social media
- Create and shoot multiple original video projects from concept to final delivery
- Present concepts with storyboards, moodboards, scripts, references, and other production design samples
- Bring a unique, creative vision and strong editorial voice, and continuously seek out new sources of content and storytelling formats
- Ensure fact-checking, licensing, research, and art/video consistency for respective projects
- Create shot lists, interview questions, and sometimes find the right talent
- Maintain a daily schedule to ensure timely delivery of each video, collaborating with the ecosystem of Get Engaged
- Assist with maintaining and servicing any department video production software and equipment as needed
- Ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained
- Be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and prioritize multiple assignments effectively
- Collaborate and interact professionally with team peers, clients, interdepartmental colleagues, and high-level executives
- Aware of new creative trends in video and digital media, and have a creative sensibility that spans various content genres and video production software
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, mobile editing apps, and associated plug-ins
- Technical knowledge, collaborative problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to translate abstract concepts into effective deliverables
- Ability to take ownership of projects
- Supply web-links to completed work, demo reels, or other content validating application and work experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) and associated plug-ins
- Leadership and influencing skills in high-pressure environments
- Ability to ideate, craft narratives, capture moments, and produce compelling final cuts
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong writing skills and proficiency in Google (or Microsoft) Docs and Sheets
- Ability to work within strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Thorough, hands-on knowledge of video and audio in a digital environment
- Effective collaboration with other video editors, graphic designers, account managers, and the client
- Flexible working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- A willingness to travel significantly with occasional minimal notice
