About the role
The Videographer is responsible for leading all studio-based video production efforts at LifeFamily Church, focusing on weekly announcement videos, in-house promotional content, and other creative projects. This role plays a vital part in keeping the congregation informed and engaged through polished, on-brand video content that aligns with LifeFamily's mission.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead all weekly announcement video production — from scripting support and scheduling to filming, editing, and final delivery — ensuring content is engaging, on-brand, and ready for services and online platforms
- Serve as the primary operator of LifeFamily's studio environment, including camera setup, lighting design, teleprompter operation, and audio configuration for all studio shoots
- Collaborate with the communications and ministry teams to gather content needs, coordinate on-screen talent, and develop creative concepts for announcement and promotional videos
- Partner with the Lead Videographer to maintain a cohesive visual identity across all video content, aligning studio and field productions under a consistent look and feel
- Handle all post-production for studio projects, including editing, color grading, graphics integration, and export for multiple platforms (in-service, social media, website)
- Maintain and manage studio equipment, including cameras, lighting rigs, teleprompter, and editing software, ensuring proper use, upkeep, and readiness for regular production schedules
- Recruit, train, and mentor Serve Team volunteers to assist with studio productions and photography, fostering a spirit of collaboration and excellence
- Support project management for studio-related creative assets by coordinating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery
- Aid in various creative team tasks and special projects as needed, including field productions, events, and other ministry priorities
Requirements
- Proven experience in video production, including studio filming, lighting, sound, editing, and post-production
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs; experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects or similar) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to produce polished, broadcast-quality studio content on a consistent weekly schedule
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with ministry leaders, on-screen talent, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines
- Creative storytelling skills with strong attention to visual presentation, pacing, and on-brand execution
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

$Competitive salary based on experience
Schedule
Office hours are Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Participation in video shoots may be required outside of standard office hours — flex scheduling at Chief Creative Director's discretion.
