Videographer

About the role

The Videographer documents each week of camp with several projects, including a weekly video that goes home with the campers. This is a seasonal position reporting to the Media Director.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and render the weekly camper DVDs
• Shoot and edit video for use both during and after the summer
• Compile and produce the staff video
• Upload productions online
• Use provided digital video cameras and organize digital files
• Complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Perform hands-on tasks as well as teach and invest in campers in a support staff role

Requirements

• Professing Christian committed to following the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
• Proficient in Mac OS X and Final Cut Pro X
• Experience using digital video cameras and managing digital files
• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program
