About The Role
The Video Production Specialist (Remote) is a vital member of the Brand Team within the Marketing Department at KnowBe4. This dual-role combines videography and motion design responsibilities, requiring a creative and technically skilled individual to produce high-quality video content that aligns with the company's branding and marketing strategies.
- Proactively pitch specific, actionable video concepts aligned with marketing objectives
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to review and refine scripts and storyboards
- Partner with copywriters, designers, and marketers to ensure video content supports campaign goals
- Create daily video content for all-company meetings and internal communications
- Own the end-to-end editing process for short and mid-form marketing videos
- Design, animate, and integrate motion graphics, kinetic typography, and lower thirds
- Plan and build a library of footage and B-roll for future use
- Implement localized versions of videos, including voiceovers, subtitles, and text graphics in collaboration with the Localization team
- Manage digital asset library, enforce naming conventions, and organize raw footage and finished assets
- Ensure all visual assets adhere to corporate brand guidelines, color palettes, and tone of voice
- Optimize videos for various platforms, adjusting aspect ratios, pacing, and export settings accordingly
- Stay current with social media video trends, editing techniques, and AI video tools to enhance content competitiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film & Television Production, or a related technology field
- 10+ years of experience as a videographer, video editor, or multimedia producer
- Expert proficiency with video editing software, preferably Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Apple Final Cut Pro
- Strong portfolio demonstrating live-action editing, motion graphics, and typography skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with experience managing server-based asset libraries
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Advanced project management capabilities
- Deep understanding of video production mechanics, post-production workflows, and equipment management
- Knowledge of AI video tools and emerging editing techniques
