Video Production Intern

About the role

Timeline: May–August 2026; 16–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with pre-production planning and production research
  • Support on-site and in-studio video shoots
  • Capture footage using cameras, GoPros, and other production equipment
  • Help coordinate and execute video production projects
  • Assist with script writing and content development
  • Edit and produce sports videos and highlights
  • Contribute to both new and ongoing video projects

Requirements

  • Willingness to take initiative and learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Sports Production, Video Production, and Telecommunications majors (preferred)
  • Experience with graphic design and video production tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and Google suite of tools
  • Proficient skills and at least one year of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proficient skills and at least one year of experience with After Effects (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent writing and communication skills
