Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in the planning, production, and post-production of video projects.
- Create videos tailored for various social media platforms.
- Lead in producing an APU story video focusing on a community member, campus space, or university initiative.
- Identify areas for skill development and complete learning tasks under the guidance of the Video Producer.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student, currently enrolled at Azusa Pacific University.
- At least one year (two preferred) of cinema/media arts education or equivalent experience.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop or equivalent video editing software.
- Passionate about the filmmaking process, especially post-production and cinematography.
- Organized, intentional, and detail-oriented.
- Teachable and eager to learn.
- Preferred classes taken and passed: CINE 335 (Production II), 321 (Film/TV Editing), 320 (Cinematography), 322 (Sound Design), or 319 (Directing for the Camera).
Physical, Mental, and Visual Demands
- Requires repetitive motions at the computer keyboard.
- Significant time spent in front of a computer monitor.
- Must be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
