Video Editor (Freelance)
About the role
Join a dynamic and fast-growing UK real estate brand as a remote freelance video editor. This part-time contract role focuses on editing a variety of engaging content, including property tours, lifestyle and listing videos, behind-the-scenes footage, long-form podcast episodes, and short-form promotional clips for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The position starts at 1–2 days per week, with the opportunity to increase to 3–4 days per week within three months and potential for a long-term, full-time role. Immediate availability is required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a rapidly expanding media team and develop their skills in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Edit property tour videos and lifestyle content for social media and web platforms
- Produce and refine long-form podcast episodes and short-form promotional clips
- Create engaging reels, shorts, and behind-the-scenes content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Collaborate with the media team to ensure consistent brand storytelling and pacing
- Incorporate motion graphics and design compelling video thumbnails as needed
- Meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly to evolving project requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and short-form editing skills
- Experience editing podcasts, property, business, or personal-brand content is advantageous
- Ability to design motion graphics and video thumbnails is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Availability to start immediately and commit to a growing workload
