Video Editor

Overtime is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Editor to collaborate and help grow our diverse content team in Atlanta. The Editor will be responsible for high-quality content creation and editing for all Overtime leagues (OTE, OT7, OT Select). We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, retention, audience behavior, and how to make our audience actually want to watch. The individual should be a passionate storyteller highly adept at long and short-form production. Lead the editing process from rough cut to final delivery, (including color grading, sound mixing, and graphics) Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and general video editing software to work on a videoStay current with editing styles, creator trends, sports content, challenge formats, and Youtube platform changesEnsure all videos meet Overtime standards and are optimized for engagementExcellent time management skills. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.Maintain clean, highly organized timeline projects in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, adhering to internal post-production standards.Strong sense of project ownership and dedication to delivering outstanding resultsAdd on-screen graphics, visual effects, transitions, subtitles, music, sound effects, and other editing elements to enhance viewer experience and retention Analyze YouTube performance data to understand retention curves and refine future edits Education Qualifications BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) In TV/Film Production or related field Experience Qualifications 4 years related work experienceProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.Experience with audio mixing and color correction within Adobe PremiereMotion Graphics a plus Please include link with video work Overtime expects the base salary for this role will be approximately $65k-75k annually. The organization offers health benefits, paid time off, and stock options in the company. Salary will be determined by years of experience.
